Pokémon Roleplay

Squirtle!!" I say, rushing out to catch him as he falls to the ground. I narrowly make the catch.
"You ok buddy?" Squirtle gives a weak nod.

..."Leo. I admit defeat. You're a good trainer. I apologize for insulting you earlier." I offer a hand of freindship

Leo beckoned Harmony to his shoulder and their she perched her self as he walked past Marcus....
Their was no pride or superiority to what he said next.

"Apology excepted junior....just remember who has to back up all that big talk of yours next time...he's the one who puts his body on the line for your pride...and he does it happily...you found a good partner there....Don't forget it..." he said with finality as walked back into the Pokemon center...nurse joy would be mildly annoyed with him but better to have Harmony in peak condition for later...

I looked at Squirtle. He was asleep in my arms...thankfully he wasn't injured to bad in the fight.
I felt guilty. Leo was right...I shouldn't let my pride hurt my Pokemon...my friends.
I motioned to Tanera, and headed back into the center.

you did good marcus, but leo is right...you can't let your emotion or your pride endanger your pokemon...be glad squirtle wasn't hurt

Nurse Joy: "Well I hope you learned something!" Looking annoyed at Marcus and Leo. "Now let's see about Healing your Pokémon! Give me about 4 to 6 hours and they will be as good as new."

So Leo, I have to ask: What are you going to do now? Are you taking on the League?" I asked, in an attempt to be friendly

Leo sighed as he hadn't expected (or Desired) to converse with anyone for the remainder of the day.

"Well FIRST i'm going to get harmony back into shape then I'm going to look for pokemon to build a team so I don't have to throw a small bird at all of my opponents and say 'Here I like pokemon abuse' Then I'll challege a gym i suppose.....I don't neccesarily want to be a pokemon master....but I like battling alot and I want to see how far I can go...." he said almost to himself as much as to Marcus....

Well, if you're gathering Pokemon for your team, you need to travel, right? The long and the short of it is, would you consider traveling with us? We'd love the company.

Leo thought about it for a moment....

"Fine....suppose someone's got to save your squirtle from you...." he said entering the pokemon center to have Harmony healed

Marcus cringed, willing himself to not lash out in anger. The mental battle was far harder than the one just fought.

tenera sighs sensing conflict ahead, also sensing he would have to be the one keeping them from each others throats

Time Passes... It is now the next day and all Pokémon are fully healed...

Squirtle. ...Squirt....Squirtle... SQUIRT!"
These were the sounds heard the next morning, as Squirtle tried waking me up. I hate waking up in the morning, being rather lazy. However, it is impossible to sleep when a turtle knocks you off the bed.
"OW! Squirtle, what the hell?"
"Squirtle" He replied, pointing to the Clock. 9:03. He then nudged Weedle awake. Weedle yawned, then crawled its way onto Squirtle's back. The pair then sat on my head.
Looking up at them, I couldn't help but smile. Today was going to be a good day. I went to Tenera's room to see if he was awake yet.

as i finish my meditation, just before i open my eyes,i hear the door open and Marcus come in, i wait until he is right in front of me, looking directly into my face and i open my eyes suddenly. "good morning Marcus" i say with a smile from watching him jump "so, where are we off to now?" i say as i wake up blaze and breeze

Uh...I think we gotta go through the Viridian Forest to get to Pewter. Oh, Hang on, I gotta go get Leo," I say to Tenera, Before heading off to Leo's room.

Leo had woken early and started his day off with a glass of tea while Harmony sat in his lap. the two of them simply let the sun rise around them.

Once the sun rose he washed up, dressed him self, gave harmony a minor grooming (which she thoroughly enjoyed).

He left the room with harmony on his shoulder before noticing Marcus enroute to retrieve him.

"Where's the fire Junior?"

Fire? I don't know. But a good day starts early, right? Common, were headed through the forest. Let's go!"
-Squirtle gives harmony a look. "He's always like this"-

Leo rolls his eyes and follows deciding to tag along for lack of a better idea at the moment and knowing that the forest would be a good place to capture more pokemon...."Yeah yeah I'm comin'..." he says in an attempt at placation

Harmony returns the look to squirtlein a manner that says 'yeah....I know how ya feel'

Squirtle shakes head- "No way. Leo seems...intelligent? Wise? Eh, wordings not important."
Weedle looks ashamed. "Forgive them. They're both idiots."

As Leo continued to walk Harmony hung her head-'Idiots with social skills....'

"Well, At least we can get a couple laughs about them, right?" Said Weedle
Squirtle starts to look ticked, but shrugs, ignoring it.

Leo Continued walking with Marcus.

"Ever get the feeling our pokemon talk about us when they think we're not listening?" Leo said causing Harmony to go rigid for a moment thinking she may have been caught.

All the time," I replied. "To be fair, If we spoke a language they couldn't understand, we would probably exploit it a little to. I don't blame them in the least. Where the hell is Tenera?"

Leo shrugged
"I have no Idea where he is but I'll wait for you two at the edge of the forest...I need my morning exercise"

remembering marcus say that we were heading to a forest i go there to wait, feeling uncomfortable in the building, to many man-made things around me. reaching the edge of the forest i sit down to meditate while waiting for marcus and leo
