Wizarding Roleplay

I grab Micky's cage so it doesn't tip over. Turns around. "What the heck?"

I moved to look out the door to see what the crash was. I saw another kid, sprawled out on the floor, this things all over the place. I bent down to pick them up, give him a hand. His owl, beautiful creature, was screeching so loud i thought my ears were going to bleed.

Although settled down Zinthara was trying to glare at both birds as though to say "BE QUIET!!!!"

Whispers to Micky to quiet down. She settles down.

The kid thanked me for my help and ran off. I sat back down inside the compartment.
"So...Maurana was it? How long have you known you were a witch?

"Yes... and I have known almost my entire life. My mother's a witch and my father is a muggle. How about you?"

"I did not know I was part of an old Wizard Family until I got the Letter, but I lived most of my life in the world of the muggles." Now looking out the Window again at the passing scenery and looking somewhat more depressed.

Looks over at Zan concerned. "Is everything alright?"

"I think my Mom has Dis-owned me..." Frowning

Gives a sympathetic look and reaches over Zinthara to give Zan a hug. "I'm so sorry. If you ever need to talk I will be there for you."

I turned away from the sappy scene. It wasn't for me, I had my own problems

"Although, it is probably better this way because my mom can't or won't get along with the rest of the family, because she doesn't have enough magic to be proud of being a squib and this creates a lot of tension when the family gets together. So, my Mom is only playing it safe...I guess..." looking surprised and less sad.

Releases hug. "Ok... As long your going to be ok." Turns back to Marcus. "What's your story?"

"Maurana, you are going to be a Hufflepuff, if I am right please ask to hug me next time, and even if I am not still ask, Please." Still looking happier, but a little miffed.

Turns back to Zan. "I'm sorry, I will try to ask next time. You just seemed like you needed a hug. If you want to... you can call me Ana, if it will make it will make you more comfortable." Turns back to Marcus, waiting patiently for a response about his back story.

I don't exactly feel like telling strangers my past. Nothing personal, we've only just met.

"OK, well I feel like reading so can every one be quiet?" Pulling out a book called "The British Bestiary and Surrounding Countries".

"Ok.... No problem. Sorry, I wasn't trying to pry. I will rest the rest of the way there so not to disturb you." Closes eyes and leans back and drifts into a light sleep.

I stay looking out the window, my hand moving over my chest. I cringe when my fingers make contact with the wound. The train speeds along the countryside. Hours pass.

Zan looking up from his book says "We are nearing Hogsmead and thus Hogwarts. We should be able to see it soon."

I slowly open my eyes and make a big yawn. "Thanks for waking me before we get there."

I guess we got to change into our robes then..." I said, reaching for my trunk.

"I guess we should." I reach in to my trunk and grab my robe.

"As you can see I already did. I got tired of waiting half way there and decided to change." Looking much happier.

I said nothing to that, not wanting to admit I was that zoned out. I would have to focus more as we entered the school, otherwise I would have many problems. Paying attention has kept me alive, and it would continue to do so in the future...its time to shape up
